I used to have four LPs with the stories read by Johnie Morris.

Can I suggest that you leave the track as it is, unless you have other stock that won't go through the kink, and I would go with trying to provide some movement it the pony truck first - that might solve the road holding problem.

That looks interesting, but I presume that uses PECO track as well?

That looks interesting.
You are aware that Grantham didn't have a turntable, but used a triangle to turn engines?

To Max - I agree that there is nothing wrong with a good beer, but why would you want to get a steam engine to pull your train?
And there is another glass half full, although mines empty at the moment - Beer and breweries

I once owned a Rover (Honda) 418d - and I was 24, and used every gear in the box, sometimes in sequence.

If I were in the market for an LMS 2P, then I would go for the Hornby model - preferably as no. 1000 in LMS crimson - because I remember the model.
Something that the vocal people do not consider is that Hornby's Tornado in railroad trim is more accurate than a Bachmann A1. Now I do want a model of Tornado, but I do not wish to (nor afford) nearly £100 pounds for any engine, least of all one that I am planning on detailing and repainting.

Nice and atmospheric there.
If you check the thread on the magazine, you'll find the website, and you can get the models from the magazine people.
