  1. A layout to be proud of and a nice overall view.
  2. Rob thanks for the inspiring words, I'm looking forward to having a bash at some weathering.
  3. Hi Callum can I say your weathering techniques are splendid, especially only using paints and powders. I don't have use of an airbrush so like you it will be done by hand as I plan to start weathering up some wagons.
  4. Enjoyed the video JP, thanks for sharing.
  5. That has come out really nice, great weathering.
  6. Hi I'm wanting to add some oil cans and other detailed items along the running plate on my Hornby R&H loco. Does anyone know a good website.
  7. The wharf wall looks nicely modelled Gareth.
  8. There is nothing like a bit of filth and grime, which you have captured nicely.
  9. The printed pipe bridge has turned out well, nice work.
  10. Great pictures Dave. Are all the vehicles 1/76 scale on your layout.
  11. The factory gate look great and the CAD drawing of the pipe bridge is very nice.
  12. Jake nice work on the facia, it stops you looking at the different levels of board. The chains will be a nice touch. I think all in all you have really good chance at winning the cakebox challenge.
  13. Hi Mike wishing you the best towards better health and that your check ups to well.
  14. This is a stunning little layout and atmospheric with the lighting in the different buildings. Thanks for sharing this with us.
  15. Nice little kit, look forward to seeing your progress.
  16. This does look interesting, especially when it's going to be an Emmetts style theme.
  17. Marly51 it's great to see you back. I enjoy your cakebox layouts you have made in the past. Look forward to seeing this challenge progress.
  18. Excellent modelling, just the right amount of detail.
  19. Hi Ian I have not thought about modelling clay. Normally I add some water to my filler but if I apply it without water and adding sparingly with my fingers it should be ok.
  20. Thanks Ian I would say it's at least 3mm in thickness.
  21. Hi I'm in the middle of building a stone railway bridge using cardboard. What I want to know is will I be able to add a thin layer of plaster over the top of the cardboard so I can etch in the stone work without it warping.
