Before I moved down here my previous Saab used to go through front springs.The guy who looked after it always said it was the amount of "sleeping policemen"(lazy b*****rs!!).Joking apart they are all over the North East, a bloomin menace.Since moving down here I have replaced one set of springs on my current Saab I hit a big pothole and bang both went.The joys of modern motoring.I very rarely attempt to do any work on the car these days not as easy as my old Beetles

  4. Morning from a rather quiet North Wales we had the wind yesterday (must stop eating beans).Must have rained through the night now it's eerily quiet and pleasanly much fresher than the sticky heat from yesterday.
