How easy was it to make the ncb coal trucks or are they RTR? Im after doing this... but going to need a lot of wagons....

Im on the lookout for a model to represent the shunters used on the lambton coal drops in Sunderland.. this picture was taken in 1966 long after most were replaced with diesel. Anyone recognise the original make? Of course they may have been home grown in the lambton engine works...
