I love how KR is based in Alberta. Us Canadians, doing our part to further the OO gauge roster! Picking up both a Clayton, Leader and likely a Fell. Will these have interior lighting, firebox flicker on the Leader?

I honestly hope more will come from this. I'd love to see more 1800s and early 1900s rolling stock and locomotives. I've always been interested in things like the Firefly, Crampton, Planet..

I've got an Olivia's Castle and a Howes MN; The Howes sound is fantastic. Also have a Howes A1, also fantastic. I'm not a fan of Olivia's myself; When I got my castle the wheels were completely out of synch, I found the chuffs weak sounding, and whistles are preset tones/quills. My biggest issue, aside from the whistles, is the wheels tend to be out of synch a lot when people buy from them. It seems to be fairly common. I won't lie though, if it weren't for the wheel synch problems Olivia's does do okay steam sounds. However they share a lot between models and aren't always accurate to the model because they carry-over so much. Go Howes. Or Locoman. Won't regret it.

Well, my club layout is Canadian based.. lots of corners and frequent stops where speed doesn't really matter. Ontop of that the extra room on the DJM sounds good to me. However, still tempted on the Hornby offering.. I just need to make up my mind on a sound file!

Been extremely tempted to get one of these, and fit it with sound, however I'm unsure as to which decoder would be better. Coastal's whistle sounds better than biffo's, however the whistle sounds are randomized instead of quillable. Any suggestions?

About time! I can't figure out for the life of my why some of the latest train packs still came in polystyrene.

The sovereign packs don't seem too bad; I'm just curious if they are going to use the same styrofoam package.. I have a very bad time with these.
