  1. Afternoon all, I was looking to get a 'bespoke' 66 in EWS livery, but on the Revolution site the EWS livery doesn't appear to be available for bespoke ordering. DB yes, but original EWS no. Have I missed the boat on that option? Or was it never available for EWS? Thanks, Paul
  2. Dang, I was surprised not to see Swallow liveried 47834 'Fire Fly' in the line up this winter, but I suppose that it is, sort of.... https://locomotionmodels.com/exclusives/future-releases/class-477-no-47798-prince-william-n-gauge
  3. This question has been stuck in my head since I saw your post, and it could well be there were no (or at least only few) 2A BSOs in Regional livery. I think the stock in the North West were ex BFK reclassified as BSKs in the 35xxx series, mostly ex NSE stock from the Thames and West England routes. It could well be that the only 2A BSOs were the Scottish sets with Reggie colours and 'SCOTRAIL' branding. Although, Transpennine did have at least one 2A BSO in their house colours, so that must have gone somewhere after the TP loco hauled stopped in 1991. My Platform 5s are still boxed after moving house, but I did come across this site about North Wales stock. http://www.nwrail.org.uk/nwcoach.htm Edit: Found the 1995 Platform 5. It says there were x10 2a BSO, x1 2c BSO and x7 2a BSK (ex BFK) in Regional Railways all at Liverpool. Inverness has x3 2a BSOT (vac braked) in Regional 'SCOTRAIL'. So, plenty of reason for Farish to make the BSO, perhaps aong with some more of the TSOs as well.
  4. Yep definatley updated now, thanks for the heads up. The catalogue number and description are different, and there are numerous pictures now instead of just standard catalogue style picture. So good news for the 47s, and a Christmas pressie for me if I can persuade the Mrs.
  5. I found it browsing the Rails website. There was a link on their hompage to the Bachamann Winter announcements, which lead to a 'View the Range' link, and then 47628 was the first item that came up when I filtered for N gauge. Interestingly the sound version wasn't there, or I didn't see it perhaps. But that's good as it probably does mean that the non sound would likely be N18 too I imagine. If only they'd done 47500 'Great Western'. That kept it's green livery for longer. Still good to have 628 though. I wonder if this means other 47/4s have been produced?
  6. Good that the 47/8s have Next 18, perhaps the Swallow livery will follow in the future. And Rails of Sheffield have an exclusive Fairsh 47/6 on the way, 47628 Sir Daniel Gooch in GWR green. According to the blurb it is only 6 pin though. A tad dissapointing perhaps. https://railsofsheffield.com/products/class-47-6-47628-sir-daniel-gooch-gwr-150th-anniversary-livery-diesel-locomotive Edit: Rails website updated and it's Next 18 fitted. So that's promising for other Farish 47s then.
