Kieran I am pleased that my photo inspired you. Nice work. From what I can recall it was not unusual for the fert bags to be coloured, but for rail transport they were wrapped in an outer plastic film which was often white. As is apparent from the photo in the book, the wrapping at Rathmore was clear so we can see the bags through it. I have seen the clear wrapping in use several times. Not all the fertiliser came from IFI, and the bags could be different depending on the manufacturer. However, yours are now clearly the same type as seen at Rathmore - prototypical as your scenes always are. Can't stop - busy working on Volume 3. Jim
