Hi all, My Class 68 with an ESU sound chip has developed a strange issue. All of the functions work as they should, but to get moving the body has to be removed and the motor/flywheel (?) needs to be spun manually, then the body put back on etc and it works fine. Any ideas as to why it has started doing this and any remedies? Thanks. Alex.

Hi all, I’ve just got a Gaugemaster Prodigy dcc system. I was getting to know the new system with a Dapol 68 with a Loksound 5 sound decoder. I’m not sure what I did but all the lights / functions work, but the 68 doesn’t move (it still thinks it’s moving e.g. changing direction with lights on has a delay as if it was moving). How would I go about resetting either the locomotive or the controller to go back to out-the-box functionality? I’m not the greatest user of dcc, so as simple as possible would be appreciated. My TPE set arrived today; very nice indeed! It was a bit odd when DHL delivered a box that said “quantity 6” on the side, but I like the idea of reusing things where possible. Top job!

Long time RM lurker, recent joiner, first time poster here. I brought 92001 on Tuesday 20/12, mainly after reading on here / in magazines about it. I have a deltic and a variety of their wagons so I shouldn’t have been surprised, but wow! I can’t test it yet due to a layout build in progress but I’m sure a shelf will be suitable for the time being. As a side note, no parts had fallen off.
