  1. Peco have just released some new O gauge concrete sleeper track. It does look very good I have to be honest.
  2. Hello everyone! I am currently planning an O gauge model railway. This will be my very first layout. It will only be a small O gauge layout but will be modular so can be extended in the future when space & finances allow. I am planning it to be modern image and mostly running DMU units such as the recently announced Heljan class 153. I would like to have a small platform (long enough for a 2 coach DMU) in like a southern style. Does anyone know of any good manufacturers of O gauge platform edges?
  3. I have just pre-ordered the Gaugemaster GWR sound fitted version of the class 153. I am very much looking forward to this model being released. Please if you are reading this Heljan, in the next batch, a Wessex trains class 153 would be great!!😉 I was interested to see that this model will feature illuminated door open/close buttons. This must be a first for model railways? I have seen a few models with working door interlock lights but never one with working door open/close buttons.
  4. Yes this is exactly what I thought. Peco have also just released some new gauge track also. I am kind of hoping that more modern image O gauge models will come to market soon. So if you are reading this Accurascale, an O gauge class 150 DMU would be amazing. 😉
  5. Hello everyone. I am new to RM web! I have always been a fan of railways and model railways. When I was a young child I had a collection of 00 gauge trains and rolling stock. As I got older, I sold most of it to fund other things in life which I heavily regret now. So I am starting fresh in the model railway hobby so I thought I would create a project in O gauge as I personally admire the larger scale. So I was excited to hear that Accurascale are soon to announce their first locomotive in O gauge. I have been trying to think of what it could be. If it is a diesel locomotive, my guess would be a class 25. If it is a steam locomotive, then perhaps a a GWR 42XX.
