Which magazines, books describe in details the workings, technical details, shunting details of the various Pre-tops and Tops goods wagons of the uk. Most books I have read have only have pictures and one small para attached to it. I need to study in detail tech details like brake rigging, shunting methods, Data/maitenance plates.

Can someone kindly identify the rooftop components of the class 92 locomotive in the picture for my research. Components like the VCB, surge protector, Harmonic filter, etc on the rooftop. In the underframe kindly label the transformer, batteries, compressor etc.Kindly label it in the images.
