  1. Well this is a "Untouched Kit. Still in original wrapper". http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251450314592&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1120. So why is most of the body work soldered up then.
  2. Well he has also this one for sale http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-Lord-Westwood-Locomotive-coal-unit-with-original-box-old-stock-/271390709166?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item3f302595ae as this is came out I think in 1973 for one year and in the cat there should have been white spots as well on it.
  3. Well if they fail to sell the first time http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151214639457?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 you stick them in again for the same OTT price http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380834989764&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1120
  4. LNER blue for this engine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIRFIX-00-GAUGE-LNER-PRAIRIE-TANK-LOCOMOTIVE-MODIFIED-/380831566535?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item58ab548ac7
  5. Yes I know they have a "Name" http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131097516601?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 but it has been started so the collectors will not be after it and the chassis is to S4 so the spacers could be missing for OO but £113 for it is over the top when you can get a new one for £72.00 http://www.rtmodels.co.uk/dsc_2751.jpg and will be more up to date to build as well.
  6. Who will pay £5.99 for these and then £2.99 P&P on top.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-PACKS-OF-COOPER-CRAFT-MODEL-RAILWAYS-OO-HO-GAUGE-EIGHT-SPOKE-WHEEL-SETS-/151214639457?ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:3160 Cheaper to buy good metal tyres ones.
  7. Your own "Flying Scotsman" in current condition, and might be better to scrap both as the costs will be to great.
  8. Well painted http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=121248968015&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1120. Also looks the chassis has ben extended to fit the body.
  9. At least the seller withdrawn that lot and re-listed it as http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-Train-Set-1960s-Blue-Pullman/121249507012?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D3932121751406544055%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D3%26sd%3D121248991745%26 when I pointed this mistake over the date out to the seller.
  10. Well I have come across another two with an web shop where the goods are cheaper, and the reason is that there are no ebay/paypal charges when you use their web shop, so the savings is passed onto the customers, and in one case they do say on the ebay shop that they charge more to recover the ebay/paypal charges.
  11. Well the other one is also listed http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-LMS-4-6-0-Class-5p5f-Tender-Locomotive-Lot-1416-/151202599837?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item233460939d And the one you showed looks like it has a new etched chassis/valvegear/wheels as well.
  12. A bit big for a suburban tank engine.
  13. But with something like this http://www.timbertracks.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=1_3&product_id=32 at £74.00 so it might not too bad after all, but we better send this chap around to keep an eye on you. other wise we will have to give you a
  14. Well the seller got that sale well stitched up then by getting that price.
  15. But what will happen if they don't get through the post in mint condition then.
  16. You mean code One or Three then.
  17. Well another case of how to get your buyers confused as it is listed near the top as "Un-boxed Model" and then lower down "The original box & inner packing is in excellent condition" But at least it is not listed as "A good one for your collection" as so much of this rubbish is listed under.
  18. £24.90 will be more like it, as the state it is in a "Much ado about nothing" condition.
  19. I think he has the point in the wrong place as this one the P&P is 99% cheaper http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111236109142
  20. Why is it not listed as a not completed kit built engine as so many RTR they market are called "Kit Built"
  21. Well what else do you expect that you will be robbed when you buy the engine as before it lost the "MINT CONDITION" it was called "Robin Hood".
  22. See the bottom of this page for paints.http://www.royalmail.com/personal/help-and-support/Tell-me-about-Restricted-Goods under "Water-based paints, wood varnishes and enamels"
  23. Lucky dip time and there might be something of use for you.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400612078124&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1120
