I had the pleasure of bumping into Chris at the Solent MRS show yesterday. Whilst the likeness to his profile picture was a good start, the real give away was he was carrying a huge bag of Minerva Pecketts with him. Chris in real life was as generous with his time as he is on these pages. We talked about Cwm Back and making your first steps into 7mm modelling. He proudly got a Peckett out of the box so I could handle it and a fine model it is. He encouraged me not to lurk and have the confidence to post on his thread (which I've now done). Great day out, great show and I even managed to blag 20 mins of shunting on Wood's Wharf.
