In fairness the TPEs are getting there now. It's the sleeper stock that has the main issues. They're are getting new gangway doors already.

Some amount of overkill using 2 66s on that. Is there a lack of 37 power?

Given the market conditions, I was willing to pay it. I had been trying to source a TPE 68 for a while, eBay prices were in the same ballpark. However I will be wary of them in future.

00 Class 37 from me too. Love to see the type 3 getting the Deltic level of treatment with all the variations over its life and still on going.

Mine was £200 for the standard version from Olivia trains. It was last one they had. Wishing I held off as shops have now got more stock in at normal prices.

Would love the ridemaster, round buffer version too and flats. Heard disturbing rumors on FB recently of Northwall yard becoming a Tesco and apartment block.

Regarding the TPR livery. It was pointed out to Dapol at the EP stage but even then it was too late to fix. Like the Oxford issues with their Mk3s, the Intercity and Scotrail livery is way off to what Hornby and the rest nailed decades ago. I have every faith in Accurascale getting the TPE livery right as the lads have to get the right shade of orange, tan and golden brown on the IRM A class range. If they can do the A class liveries right then the TPE MK5s will be a cake walk.

Would the STS PCAs ever have run with freight sector 37s?

I'd be extremely interested in a few variations of 47 done to Accurascale standards. So many livery to cover too. I'd need at least 12 I think.

Sure even old stock can have those problem too. The De Dietrich coaches for the Enterprise after their mid life refurb 3 year ago, had similar brake and wheel flat issues when they came back into service. There are coaches that were in service since 1997 and up till the late 2000's were still having issues with the park brake not releasing and the 201 loco not able to "talk" to stock at times. The Irish Mk3s had issues with the plug doors too in the early days and they would still act up from time to time many years later. Hopefully CAF will get the issues solved, they didn't with the Irish Mk4 ride quality even after bogie modifications.

Heard about the sleeper Mk5 having brake issues causing wheel flats but that it's down to software issues between the 68s and mk5s. Would have thought all that would have been picked up and sorted in Spain before delivery.

Any word on the running numbers of the 2 TPE sets that will be released? Reason for asking is that I saw news today saying that sets TPE02 and 05 are to be put in long term secure storage, don't think that's a good sign at all for new rolling stock but such is life.

I got one of Ebay yesterday for £185 that is now surplus to needs as I managed to secure another one locally before bidding was over but I could not back out. Anyways, I'm willing to exchange this for another 68 I missed out out on, Avenger. Same as 019, 008 is sold out everywhere too. Only really willing to exchange it for an as new condition loco like for like.

Anyone know anyone with planes to produce the current Chiltern MK3s and DVT. I have very lonely Chiltern 68 relegated to yellow wagon duties.

Hi guys/Fran, will you be adding full height waste containers at some stage or any plan to do so?

This is the issue. There is alot of slop up and down movement in the coupling and it's mounting height even when level is low. If it glue it in the up position it won't extend on curves and retract on a straight. I have 2 68s like this, 15 and 19.

Will you be featuring opening cab doors like the Hornby 60? Same for your other locos, Deltic and A class?

Anyone got any got ideas for solving the drooping coupler issue on these. My 68 derails because the coupling bar snags over the rail head on curves and points. Its a great model in every way except for this nagging issue.

There is one going on ebay now for £160 with 2 days left which is not too bad I don't think.
