  1. If you like watching you tube watch this guys content,
  2. Elle Macpherson and the Ford Escort MK2 with a BDA in were pretty close though...........
  3. The weights and pulling capability, motor control and lighting are so much more now,a lot more want them pulling full or near full scale length rakes. As in life theres more in real terms than what something looks like. Hornby is more associated as a toy maker than making accurate scale models until the last few years as others like Cavalex,Revolution and Accurascale have stole the show.
  4. Happy New Year to you guys, and all who frequent RMweb, you have turned your fledgeling company into the force to be reckoned with. the models so far are sweeping away and shaking up the establishment. This coming year will just get better as you have the interest in models you make driving you rather than big business trying to take folks eyes out,we have a lot to thank you for, well done and keep it up, just remember black fives matter........a year has passed since the last announcement. Thanks you guys.
  5. Well down wire if you have not pre ordered the 92 before the price rise, even just collecting one as an investment as i guess given time they will become like paintings to the art world for some.way better value for money than it sitting in the bank, the cryptocurrency of the model rail world.
  6. Dapol still did better than the large headlight versions that need work and money and time put in to fix, its what it is but at £265 sound fitted and you have to start repairing it,makes the upcoming stuff from Accurascale great value at £250 does it not,as Mr Kohler says, they are for keeps, not toys.
  7. Who has one that the factory did,few came without issues, dont get me wrong,i have over twenty and once i get the last bits of loft construction out the way each will be made what it should be,out of the box its not what we expected,a ready to run model, you dont expect to have to buy items to correct lights, axle kits to fix the rotating ends to make it work as it should.its not IRM A class spec but should have been....and i get the four to six axle issue...... McC commented on Chinese production saying six factorys do all the work to do 00 models there,so i guess this was done by one. If more are to come i would want them right for the money they will be at.
  8. Since the release of this the bar has gone up a bit,and as it looks they have stepped back from there own branding,by there own admission these are not from the Heljan factory, and it was just a rush to market. If they own the moulds i would hope that they team up with Accurascale to sort out issues and make this what it should have been,So much hype and so much wrong once they arrived, they will still have made money but the send it back, were fixing nothing has done this no good, time will tell i guess.
  9. Thats good to know, more Hornby Dublo than Triang, theres still Dublo from the late thirtys working and looking good, quality work is worth it and something you can be proud of,well done, when it cancels out Frans wallet on the scales it will have good traction.........
  10. Wheres the star trek matter replicator when you need it,that would sort the rivet issue ,never mind tea earl grey, hot. We all know you will give the issue 110%,everything is possible, just need to invent the solution.
  11. Is it not possible to have the main metal mold with a seperate metal section to mold the buffer face attatched magnetically so it can have a flat surface to leave the mold and remove it?
  12. Well thats made me spit my tea out, this will come in plain brown paper wrapping so you can finally have the big beastie in my hands. As you say its Just part of our growth. Well i needed a Vax carpet cleaner, behave you lot.
  13. Dont know if you guys have thought of doing such a thing but i guess could be right up your street,a chip and speaker loaded with station blurb what could be roof mounted on building, the modern day see it ,dob them in ,sorted type stuff and just life noise in general to bring things aroud the trains to life.Could be wound back to differing eras too so sounds of 1960,s etc.might keep you busy when lockdown strikes............any thoughts peeps,
  14. Is that seagull squaking and waves breaking, you must model Dawlish.
  15. So much talk with comparison to other inferior manufactures, you do realise its days from christmas and being on the naughty list at this late stage would be pointless. There team of elves doing the construction of these and other items in the range will have it perfect by its time for release, its a ruse they are made in China and the Carlsberg factorys are in Scandanavia, the signs are there,it all adds up......
  16. Stunning work as usual from you boys,it must be a weight off your mind that its coming together, even with updates it amazes me how many must look at the pictures and not read the content by the questions they pose,a big thanks and merry christmas and more prosperous new year to you, hopefully you get time off to chill, you would think it was the answer to the virus, not a model locomotive, perhaps one will at some point named after saint Fran, and done with etched plates.
  17. Good things come to those who wait, that reminds me of meeting the x wife....
  18. Being British i guess the differing weather conditions the Deltic faced during its working life......it will be worth the wait im sure, the muts nuts of Deltic modelling.
  19. Obviously they are owned by Carsberg, that good they have to be.
  20. So you can see them past the smoke generator.........they have everything else but so needs to happen.
