  1. A finished HYA repainted into the blue VTG livery and weathered. Decided to focus on HYA rack as been left in boxes for a while, while I did other projects. I'm all so starting a rake of JHA wagons and started this one with graffiti and changed the tops panel and also added the little VTG safety sticker over the graffiti. Needs weathering and other side tagging as well.
  2. Had a little running session a few photos of stock on the layout
  3. thank you and yours is a great representation as well, really like the load. mine will also be in engineering traffic. im using this image as inspo as also have a few MOAs and 66711 on the work bench so wanting to recreate some of this working not my image just using for reference
  4. couple completed wagons. first up dutch livered SPA 460272 and another MHA recoded as an MPA 394358
  5. Another loaded JNA of the work bench, picked this example as pretty simple but I quote like how 1 side of wagon has pretty much been completely repainted into yellow removing logo and data panels
  6. Would definitely be interesting to see all the wagons which have been modelled and how big the fleet would be.
  7. latest projects off the work bench, first up new OBA in EWS maroon. numbered as 110040 one side is correct to this number and the other side taken from another interesting OBA and numbered the same as other side this is my favourite OBA ive made to date. inside of wagon is weathered and loaded with some rail, sleepers and a 1 ton bag, inspired by @EWS60065 bass wagon interiors next up is an ex mainline MFA found both sides of wagon on flickr so both are represented 1 patched painted in EWS maroon and the other side with 2 tags, full ballast load added as well then a renumbered and weather Hornby class 60. renumbered to 60015 lastly a work in progress, a 3d print YOB crane, not super prototypical but a nice representation and wanted a model of one of these for a while and no luck getting a make your mark ones or cancalled hattons ones so this will fill a space and look decent in a engineering rake, still some detail to add and glazing/weathering
  8. A MFA and another MHA of the work bench, quite simple just dirty and rusted! And a JNA falcon, with one side quite heavily weathered and some painted out graffiti of Le Chat! And then the other clearer side.
  9. Another MHA completed, this time the @AccurascaleDB red version in its faded condition. Took some time to get it looking how I wanted in the end I took of all factory printed detail and repainted the body and using @railtec-modelstransfers to get it finished Been loaded up a lot of wagons with ballast as well for the 1st time pretty happy with how it's all coming together. Got a few more wagons close to completion on work bench will post once completed.
  10. Thank you Jo, seen a few other modellers do the same so found a few prototype images to work on and created my own
  11. I finished off another MHA wagon, this one being the recent release from accurscale Found images of both sides of wagon for this one, got some nice marking on either side and also filled with fresh ballast. Completed here with my recent Hornby one that's also had ballast load added Another project I've been working on is a Network Rail test train. I have built and painted UTU1 that is a 3d print by @LMSfan72 I still need to add buffers and the correct bogies it's running on Thompson bogies atm these need the sides taking bakc and the 3d printed version adding over the top I have also turned on of the mk2s into brake runner 977986, first time using filler on a model and think its worked will pretty rough if looked at closely but for now it works well enough for me i will continue on with the rake in the future, so far it includes a Hornby yellow mk2 and the Bachmann dbso and push/pulled with on of my DRS class 37s
  12. I have also been working on a few JNAs, been trying out some enemal washes as well on some of these with the usual acrylics. Next two wagons feature decals from @Steadfast a class 60 heads thr train, weathered an renumbered to 60020 The Willows Also added some left over ballast kn 2 of the wagons
  13. Wagons completed in the last few days one MHA and an OCA MHA pretty simple weathering just copied prototype that had same number as Hornby release OCA little more involved, heavy rusted and faded satlink livered wagon, copied diffenet wagons for either side. One end had some interesting use of the warnings having 5 in total on 1 end Wagons together with another OCA I recently completed
  14. Yeah your right it's deffo one area I always forget about.
  15. I look forward to seeing them I have two more that went into blue last night and these examples I intend to add some graffiti to. I recently completed this HYA that I realised later should be a blue example but at the time my only reference picture was hard to tell if base was blue or silver
  16. Some more finished wagons Starting with an OCA. Managed to find images of both sides so weathered accordingly. Original a Dutch livered wagon and mostly repainted into faded railfright red. I picked this wagon due to the miss match doors on one side Next up another OBA finished based on images from Flickr, on side is correct to the tops code. And the two wagons together Also finished is my 1st Bachmann MXA wagon. This wagon was chosen as saw it on a recent railtour and wanted to recreate the graffiti
  17. Repainted one of my wagons into on of the blue VTG wagons, the blue not accurate I just used a tamiya blue. Transfers from @Steadfastmodels.
  18. @Steadfastthank you Jo, great transfer as always.
  19. Recent completed repaint of a accurscale HYA in the blue VTG livery and lightly weathered Decals are a from @Steadfast
  20. some of my first attempts at weathering my loco fleet, two TPE class 68s. inspired by Timara Easters weathering in British Railways Modern Freight Locomotives, and seeing several examples in York earlier this year in a rather dirty state. first up is 68031 Felix, this is the standard Dapol releases with added purple name template and gold bothers, I saw this loco several times in this state running light loco in and out of York. Next up is 68030 Black Douglas, also seen stable at York. knew I wanted to model this example as just really liked the name, this is just a renamed/numbered from one of the recent Dapol release. Both locos found stabled at Fletton Road shed.
  21. A quick update from yesterday's workbench activity, added weathering and graffiti to another OBA and painting graffiti onto a freightliner HIA I photographed in Peterborough.
  22. Some wagons currently on the work bench! My 1st Bachmann MXA wagon, very nice model! Choose the one with the brake wheels attached to the bogies, first as I have 5 3d printed/BDA conversions all with brake lever and secondly I was on the Skipping Devonion railtour and saw this graffiti covered example as we headed home. After a quick search on Flickr finding pictures of said wagon! Tagged Jason and Auto, still to be weathered, graffiti added and started toning down the sole bar so far Next on the work bench is the sole DB red MHA wagon So far just a few washes of white and pink to represent the fading paint work. MHA being the latest release from accurscale
  23. Another OCA and OBA. Some of my 1st weathering wagons, chosen because of the graffiti and markings.
