G2 or LMS 2P would be a good starting point as the Union Mills models are no longer available. Neither have outside valve gear. The Garratt might appeal more to Rapido.
-
Maybe they could consider the N Gauge Garratt that Hattons started & then canned?

I have two Dapol Brits including one of the new batch. Both go round second radius curves without any problem so 15" is certainly OK.
I used to see the same Fish trains when they passed through Whetstone, just south of Leicester. Brits 70035-70041 inclusive were allocated to Immingham in the early 60s & all were used on the Grimsby-Whitland fish trains which passed through Whetstone approx 9pm every evening.
Hope this helps

Excellent news. Was always my favourite location of the Chatham Show.

Perhaps a shrink down to N scale could be considered? I would take a couple assuming they are not too overpriced.
Already done...

Great Service. Placed an order mid-afternoon yesterday & delivered by APC this morning. First time I have purchased from Kernow but will continue to do so in future particularly as their website is one of the easiest to negotiate.

OK my vote for a few B1s, Nice names, deer, please
Kudu(61008) or Umseke(61028) for me please, both ex-GC locos which I used to see regularly.

If it's rolling stock then Palbricks would be good.
Also, how about a Diesel Brake Tender? Although I still have a Parkwood kit to assemble.

Somebody has to do the LMS Twins.

The B1 is a Graham Farish model. Maybe you mean the B17?
Farish & Dapol both produced a B1 at the same time. I have a B1 from both manufacturers. My Dapol B1 is 61099 ref. ND-120A.

I think that only the Peco code 55 Medium radius points are Unifrog so far. They haven't got round to updating the small, large and curved radius points.

I visited on Friday & was hoping to purchase a copy of the Pocket Stockbook. Unfortunately the NAAFI didn't have any. I'll try again on my next visit.

70010 appears in photos with no name plate, presumably as it is modelled in late condition. Does anyone know if there are any name plates in the accessory bag?

Three from my personal wishlist...
I think that the LMS Twins in N Gauge would be popular. I'll take two.
Maybe they could speak to Hattons about resurrecting the N Gauge Garratt project?
Palbrick in N Gauge.

I'm currently constructing a new N gauge layout & using a Farish Class 08 for clearance checking. Then I'll do a final check using a Dapol 9F. If these 2 are OK then everything else will be.

Any ubiquitous loco such as the LMS 4F would do well. I might be tempted.

In N gauge a Crosti-boiler 9F. Ideally after upgrading the 9F to loco drive.

You mean the Class 16 Diesels?
Would be nice models in N - with some different liveries.
I think they were classified as 16/1 but I don't think this reference was generally used before they were scrapped in 1968. I certainly don't recall it being used during their lifetime. Certainly not to be confused with Class 16.
There is a project to build 10000 from scratch...

I think that the LMS Twins would prove popular in N Gauge. Iconic locos that appeared in several different liveries & although they were LMR locos (working both west coast & midland lines) they also had a brief spell on the SR.
I suppose Bachmann could shrink their OO version but they would also be ideal candidates for Revolution or Rapido.

Hope they also offer the Catfish in black and/or indian red livery.

Here's a couple of suggestions for N Gauge. Resurrect the ex-Hattons Garratt that was open to pre-orders & then canned. GT3, an unusual loco with no outside valve gear; KR Models didn't go ahead with their proposed N Gauge version.
