  6. I'm the editor of Satellite, the free online magazine of the British 1:87 Society and I've never heard before of this Facebook site. As an earlier post says we have an online members forum (membership is free) with an often lively discussion, lots of files with information and an online copy of every one of the 73 (74 in a few weeks time) copies of Satellite. If you are interested in Railway modelling in 3.5mm come on in !
  7. Maybe also 3D designers in other scales willing to see their designs rescaled to H0/3.5mm for us H0 modellers will post here so we can see what is potentially available. There are 3D printers in the UK who would do it for us if these designers they don't have their own printer, but if they do, even better. The British 1:87 Society has had models produced for them by a variety of designers, some rescaled from 4mm or 3mm or, even easier, 7mm. We are constantly looking for more.
  8. Finally got back to this after illness and an op. Apologies. These all seem to come from some years back. Is there no info more recent? In Andalucia?
  9. 'Fraid not. These are brake thirds which are available in many shops and eBay. It's the pure brake baggage coaches that have all disappeared.776
  10. Like everyone else I've found it impossible to find any stockist of the 6- wheel brake, in my case a LNER version. Have Hornby any intention of having more of these models made to fill up the gap?
  11. Another model railway shop in Scotland. Wonderful! I must visit at the Falkirk Show this year
  12. Never heard of Rainbow Paints. Acrylic? Spray or brush?
  13. Astonishing. I've been searching the Net for ages. Many thanks indeed, Richard.
  14. Does anyone here have a jar of Polly Paints PRR Tuscan they no longer need? Not available seemingly in the UK I need some for my GNSR stock and will happily buy any such available.
  15. I'm looking for help with the locations of dated station staff photos of the four Scottish railway companies prior to the Grouping. Hats mainly. Up to Victoria's death, following military styles, kepis were the norm but when the new king Edward moved the military over to the peaked cap it wasn't long before all the Scottish railway companies followed suit. As a modeller of the era I'd like to know when for each company. Where can I find good, dated photos of staff headgear to help me. I'm in the GNSRA so I can find info for the GNSR fairly readily but where for the others? If you know where a good dated photo is, please tell me. Ken Clark
  16. Do they have model railway swapmeets in Spain ? If so where would I look to find out about them. We spend a month in Andalucia every winter, though, with COVID, not for the past couple of years, but hopefully this coming winter again.
  17. I'm a British outline modeller in H0 and, as you can imagine suitable locos are thin on the ground. I'm currently anglicising an old 197Os Jouef 8295, an 0-6-0 loco, but with the appearance of a variety of 3D printed bodies I'd like to see if I can find a H0 body or get a 00 one which can be resized which will take the Jouef chassis. The only chassis ( and body) I've seen in eBay recently have either been too expensive or located abroad with resultant costs. Is there anyone here with one lurking somewhere in a back cupboard kennclark@btinternet.com
