I'm thinking of walking to the train station and taking the bus service from there... could be considerably less aggro than parking...

Given the fact that any team radio may be broadcast, I think the FIA should implement a "swear jar" where each "bleepable" word issued by a driver (or other person on team radio) is fined , say, 1000€ .
And maybe the amount was deducted from to the Cost Cap...
After a while Mr Bleep can have the weekend off..

My Boer wife would bite my arm off for a blue UoSA to run with the coronation coaches. In her mind all the best trains are blue.

If overtaking were not so difficult and outright dangerous on this track, I'd say this could be the most exciting race of the year, with multiple contenders for the win. I'm almost excited in advance, almost.

Let's, see...
If I buy these, and my wife opens the package she could leave me for finally showing how addicted I am to eBay carp?

Is this one of those AI generated descriptions?
It says _nothing_ about the product being sold whatsobloodyever... but then it could just be the normal application of artificial stupidity a human could write...

Christmas released coaches lacked working lights
Yes, but the newer sets have lit coaches.
Badly worded advertising, but that's all.

I do however think Derails should have been included on the voting list
So...next year...
Nominate them when the request for nominations goes out.
I suspect they are peeved that no one did, or so few did they didn't make the shortlist.

Southern Railway versions
I think these look absolutely beautiful. But if I buy them I'm going to need a Southern Terrier to go with them :o
and it's getting difficult to hide these things from the missus...

Nonetheless if you have two with the same running number, sell them separately please...

Ok... 120 quid for two coaches... n gauge coaches. With the same running number?
This must be a mis-placed decimal yes?

paid out that money and when
Looking through various posts on here there are quotes of £100k+ for the tooling alone... e.g. this post:
You are right in that the payments are likely staged, but I suggest it may be difficult to get the product shipped from China unless you've paid up...
But, I'm easy; you can blame Hornby for all the delays in their supply chain and their methods of notification if you want. It won't get the model on your layout any quicker; and if you won't buy Hornby in any case then, well, shrug...

I don't really know...
I think my sympathy lies with a company that's footed £100,000s for some product a couple of years ago that they've not yet made a penny from.

some other Hornby products seem to leap frog the supply change problems
Because they have multiple suppliers in different parts of China, subject to different delays...
But if you _know_ malicious intent I suggest you take it to the authorities because it's rather frowned upon in some circles.

I think that the way Carlos slowed down to deliberately give Lando DRS so that Lando could hold off the Mercedes shows wisdom, intelligence and cheekyness of the highest stature and for that alone I'd give him Driver Of The Year..
