    I'm doing my best not to spend three and a half hours in A&E tonight, unlike last night. Coal dust or similar in my eyes. Still very sore.

      According to an old British Transport film, there used to be a resident nurse at major London termini to remove cinders from childrens eyes.

       

      I suppose that service is long gone...

      I got very wet Thursday and dried out on the car journey home. The stuff came off my clothes when i took them off by the back door. Try wearing goggles for that manoeuvre.
