Is there any updates on these please? Just wondered if there was any info on what the pack sizes will be and how production and delivery is going?

With Revolution (and Kernow) soon to be releasing there next batch of JNAs im trying to balance the books so to speak?

    Hi Gearjammer,

We’re planning on doing pairs of outers and then the inners as single packs (with multiple running numbers). We have then as packs of 5 on the site at the moment but we’ll change this to reflect the above, so there’s more flexibility. They did tend to run in blocks of 5, and we’ve planned running numbers to reflect this, but appreciate that some people may want to mix them with other wagons on the market.

We’re working towards summer for arrival/delivery, production is about to get underway.

Just an enquiry, don’t shout! 🙈 I’m interested to know when these will be available to order? There’s quite a few things that have caught my eye and just trying to budget as dare I say, Christmas is approaching faster than I’d like…

Hey there Shoey, we’ll have an update on this shortly!

No the train from the Isle of Grain worked by Hither Green Traincrew ran via Neasden South Jn and Northolt Park but the empties returned via Greenford and Acton and Kenny O

The did also work into Gerrards Cross the turn back siding was exetened and 3 daily trains ran in Top and Tailed from Merehead and Whatley, during the construction of the Gerrards Cross Tunnel and Tesco superstore they planted on top of it. All the trains that ran loaded was booked to run as Class 7s and JYA's was the most common wagon type used on the flow.

Ah good to know! Any idea why it went via Neasden on the way out?

Didn’t know about the GX run, I’ve not been able to find much on Flickr so far aside from a trip from Acton with a 60.

That's an extremely interesting picture! Especially as we are only modelling 3 stations up the way from here - any ideas on why they were here / what they were used for etc?

Nice! I assume they went through Greenford. I used to commute through West Ruislip and they seemed to be there in the reception siding every week or so (if it wasn’t those it was 2x2 20s with new surface stock). I guess it’s ballast to supply the engineering train base at West Ruislip.

Couple more quick questions from me - I note in your workings chart that the VTG grey ones were listed to get up to West Ruislip. I haven't seen anything showing that they made it further west during the later years than Acton. Do you have any research to show them working to West Ruislip at all?

Also they bogies on these wagons are fantastic - is it something you may offer as a spare at all?

    thanks

Here you go - Hard to see if they’re VTG or earlier but I’m pretty sure I remember seeing them there years ago on the way to work (Flickr url not my pic)

  6. Website update - we’re getting there, we’ve taken the opportunity to do some more planned work at the same time.

Until then here’s a quick “prototype for everything” pic - now who’s going to make some LUL locos? 🙂

That's good to know, as I noticed the website (quite important when you are not a brick and mortar retailer) had been down a while and there is no actual company "Ultimate Model Railways" registered with companies house, which does not help with confidence...

    Hey Graham

Absolutely, we’re speaking with the web team now to fix things

this is us - https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/12812486 currently though we will likely change the business name shortly

  8. Nothing like a rogue bit of code to wake you up in the morning - there was a problem with our Shopify theme, we’re working on that now (and we’ll put some updates on the site at the same time!) but we’ve taken the site offline for a short while to make some updates. Hopefully we’ll be back within the day.

The samples btw are looking lovely, we’re really happy with them and excited to get them made!

Very interesting question the link on post at beginning of thread takes you to domain site not Ultimate model railway. I was going to order some but not sure where to go? At least the models do exist from pictures from cavalex.

    Hey there, Yes we do!

We’re looking at what;’s going on with the website now, hopefully won’t be long

Is it me or are Ultimate Model Railways slow on the uptake? I'm interested in their Cavalex PHA project and thought I'd preorder Farewell 56's and a couple of 60's via them, but 56's are missing and all 60's aren't even listed on their site?

hey there, we’re having a couple of issues with the front end of our site but we’re hoping to have both the latest 56s and the 60s up in the next few days!

I thought that sparked a memory too but looking on the Dapol site I can’t find it unless it’s dcc supplies site?

this is the page you're after, from this page https://www.Dapol.co.uk/shop/preorder/OO-Gauge-Preorder/Class_59_Preorder :

    Quote

GBRF Class 59 59003 Yeoman Highlander has successfully been recorded by Dapol’s Sound Engineer at Eastleigh on the 17th January 2019 ... We would like to take this opportunity to confirm that Dapol will model 59003 Yeoman Highlander the near future.

56019 went Railfreight red stripe in March 1988 and stayed in it until at least 1998. Not sure when withdrawn but I think it was still in red stripe.

019 was withdrawn in 1999 when it was switched off at Immingham. It was still in red stripe then, and was scrapped around 2003 afaik.
