thanks for that shot bruce,i took another photo of 27055 on the same day but of the other side as she was coming into edinburgh which shows it having a scotty dog on that side to.

while looking through my old photos i came across these two shots of 27026 at perth and 27055 at edinburgh dint think to much of it till i opened another album and saw this shot taken many years later at vic berrys with 27026 sitting on top of 27055 27026 still in the same livery while 27055 had lost its scotty dog

not a bit of dirt on 47517 at Edinburgh in July 85 nice to find early in the morning that an Ethel is on the front of this Glasgow to fort william train just north of avimore 20026 with 37018 10-7-86 managed to chase 44932 from fortwilliam to malaig.took this shot from a moving car carnt remember where this shot of 37417 was exept it was some where north of inverness july 86

for a large amount of money you could tour Scotland for a week staying on Bord this train perhaps somebody knows about this working of 47640 at Glasgow it certainly had a big enough head board
