  2. Thanks mate, it was in an enclosure but i took it out to solder,i will re fit it in, the speakers you sell, will they improve this version ? Im just about to order more from Howes V5 i think and then upgrade with one of your speakers.
  3. Just read the non Pro Dynamis will not read CV hence the Error 10 im getting. However after setting the volume to max still no change, maybe i will try another speaker ?
  4. Thanks Richard I knew you could help, I changed the CV63 to 64, pressed program, the loco judders as they do. Sound volume has stayed the same, when i go back into that CV its still on 0. Still a bit new to the sound side.
  5. Hi all, Looking for some help, I had a sound chip bought from ebay sometime ago so not sure what make it is unfortunately. The sound recently stopped, we noticed the speaker wire had come loose, this has now been soldered. Re programmed on my Dynamis, loco sounds come on and the loco moves, problem is the volume is way too low, i've looked on youtube about adjusting the volumes via the CVs but no luck. Any help ? Warm regards Leon

  9. Hi all, Hope all are well ? Spending a bit of time in the atic, thought i would stock take the locomotive fleet i have. Got a running total of 21 locomotives which i now think is enough for one man operation on a layout of this size. As we are looking to move I doubt very much i will carry out any further work on the layout, my plan is to sound fit the entire fleet, detail and weather and of course run trains. Whilst i was testing i thought i would grab some quick photos. Below is a selection of traction used on the loco hauled passenger services. Below is Trainload Metals 37711 this is still being worked on being converted from a 37/5. Below is recent arrival Regional Railways 37422. I have seen pictures of this loco in South Wales.Next job is to sound fit this one.
  10. Thank you. Yes i am planning to improve all the speakers at some point..
  11. Good evening guys, Thank you for the kind words. Yes i'm excited for the new challenge...
  12. Well after 11 years of up and down a loft ladder I have finally got a working layout i'm happy with. I have just accepted an offer on our house, so this will mean an end to SWF as we know it, The new house will have 5 bedrooms, 1 will be a layout room and a new South Wales Freight. I will have to try to save what I can. Sad but im looking forward to a new bright room with no ladders.
  13. Its time to adding noise to the fleet of 20 plus locos. 2 more sound chips arrived from Howes to get the 47 fleet complete, one will be in Bachmann 47612 the other into RFD Heljan 47. Had to remove the black box, gave it a little test and it sounds great....
  14. Mine arrived Monday, I must admit very impressed. Not sure weather to get more or just have the three.
  15. Very pleased with the long awaited delivery to South Wales. Certainly brightens up the area.
  16. Still carrying original Railfreight livery. Canton allocated 56040 Oystermouth arrives with some HEA's of coal for blending.
  17. Just in time for Christmas the 1st of two orders have arrived. Had to get this loco just due to it being a good price for a Sound fitted loco. Im sure they did venture into South Wales at times. So Immingham 47346 is seen on the rolling road, it's pretty noisy and rough at the moment, hopefully will improve. Then its given a short run with empty spoil wagons. Having runaround its train the brake van is now at the locomotive end for the return up the valley. I have a couple of sound videos i will post up once uploaded to Youtube.
  18. Thank you Daniel, Had no choice in the end the electrics just not performing so never really able to run trains, trackwork now a lot more simple and professionally wired up. I always fond of the Coal trains also....
  19. Wow, It's been a while. Poked my head in the atic, Christmas decs store.... Decided i need to run the "expensive" trains i have so gave newby 37035 a run. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. I have just ordered the Dutch Class 47 sound fitted from Rails.
  20. I guess it has a name now. I didn't spend too much time deliberating over it.
  21. Liking the final arrival to the fleet, thats my list complete now.
  22. Must be at least two years since I started this, at last former 37/5 gets some grey on the way to Canton Metals machine 37711. Side window had been filled to represent a heavyweight. Railmatch paint not a good match so some more work needed with the airbrush today. I already have the Depot plaques and names ready to fit.
  23. Thank you, not my work though its a second hand purchase. Last loco due soon and then that should be everything covered from a running point of view. I can then concentrate on weathering and sound fitting them all.
