  2. Back here after a year and catching up on what I've missed. Best of British railway modelling on the 'puter, and Midsomer Murders in the DVD player. Closest I can get to home from the other side of the planet!

I think one of the old episodes of Midbummer featured a model railway layout. Can't remember which episode it was.....

One set in a brewery, with Christopher Eccleston as the train anorak and murderer (no surprise there then)

Moved on to Frost after Midsomer. One there too, but the modelling fraternity were treated a little more kindly in that story. He ended up as the dead one.

Gald it was out at sea but 6.2 is still far from nice. Trust you weren't too discommoded

  21. Feeling overwhelmed. Finish reading through the layout at the top of the list in Layout Topics and go back to find there's about eight new ones between it and the top. Seeing some stunning layouts and realising I'm going to be here for weeks if I want to look at them all...

  22. Very pleased to have received the sentinel less than five days after placing the order. Top marks to Kernow Model Rail Centre, Royal Mail and New Zealand Post!

  23. Currently writing 100 times "I must not feel guilty about buying that sentinel..."
