So Cheltenham chose a date at the end of the planned Bachmann ETA. I'm sure that when Cheltemham update their website it'll probably say 30th or 31st October.

Given that until this morning the release date for 35-415 on the Bachmann website stated 'Jul/Aug', it's more likely that Cheltenham haven't had a chance to update their website since Bachmann updated the release dates.

Just so that we are clear about the status of the Bachmann new tooling 170 announced in 2018, it and the old tooling class 20 models were 'omitted from the combined volume' in 2020. This is not the same as cancelled, as work continuing on the 170 is neither confirmed or denied.

If Bachmann are still working on the 170 (which in my opinion is likely) we won't here anything until they are about to be released.

The announcement was for the USA market. We have not seen the announcement for the UK market.

In my opinion there are two ways that Talyllyn would appear in the UK:

• In the Bachmann Europe's Narrow Gauge range like the Slate wagons. We would find out in the relevant quarterly British Railway Announcements.
• Distributed by Bachmann Europe as part of the Bachmann USA range like the BR 20T Brake Van track cleaning models. We would find out when it appears in the Bachmann USA section of the Bachmann Europe website.

As the model is due to be released in the USA in 2023, we will have a long wait to find out how it will be released in the UK.

Hardys Hobbies only have 3 Ring Haws left to pre-order.

The last new tooling OO gauge steam loco released by Bachmann, was the all new, not anything to do with any previous tooling LNER V2. Which was released around the same time as the first all new, not anything to do with any previous tooling BR Class 47 models.

As they were announced in 2019 under the old system, there is a release date on the Bachmann website.

The London Transport Museum's 1938 Tube Stock tube train will operate on the Metropolitan Line on 3rd & 4th September.

Each day the train will operate 3 return trips between Amersham and Watford, plus a single between Amersham and Harrow-on-the-Hill
