Bit annoyed with Bachmann releasing the double Mk2 TSO coach pack in BR Scotrail. I’ve had the Mk2 TSO and FK in Scotrail on pre-order for 4 years now. If Bachmann can produce the double pack now, could it not produce the previously announced ones too!?

For pre 2020 models, Bachmann update the release dates on the Bachmann website as and when necessary. The Scotrail Mk2 coaches have had an early 2023 release date since June 2022.

I didn't even realise that Hatton's had added the Hornby 2023 range even though their allocated stock is now unfortunately sold out for everything?

They didn't list the 2022 range when it was originally announced, a shame really as I wonder how many missed pre orders retailers have missed? I didn't receive any emails about the 2023 range either. Nor did I about  the 2022 range.

I wonder if they will get more allocated stock when the models arrive? Like they did with the Class 91s APT-Ps MK4s etc.

Although last and this year they did recive much more stock of the 2020 2021 and 2022 ranges. I like to support as many independent retailers as possible and I spread my pre orders through many retailers across the UK.

Hattons are a Tier 3 retailer. They can not order models from Hornby until the models arrive at the Hornby warehouse, assuming the models have not sold out to Tier 1 & 2 retailers.

    R30123 K&ESR Terrier 150th Anniversary Pack - Winter 23/24

I may push the button on this one when I see what Rails and Hatton are asking (typical discount seems to be about £20 from other retailers).  The £20 saving is less important than proper packing, which has been an issue with Hornby direct sales in the past.

You're going to have a long wait. Rails don't stock Hornby anymore and Hattons are tier 3 so don't get to order Hornby items until they arrive at the Hornby warehouse.

More pertinently, when did Bachmann last release it? I get the impression that Barwell is now somewhat constrained in what they can offer because they can't afford to bid high enough to get all the production capacity they would like, given the price point they would have to sell at. (They can't price too far above Hornby). A wagon that Bachmann can't find capacity to make is a good target for Hornby .

Last announced 2019, IIRC released late 2021 or early 2022.
