Good Evening everybody
Its been a long time since I posted but another area of the layout starts to take shape with the arrival of a scratch built good depot from the 90's. I am unashamed to say my inspiration for the building and the eventual cement works is the fantastic layout Farkham which with the stock and buildings is a wonderful layout.
So here we go it gives you some idea of this area which sits on top of the helix to hide it.
Enjoy

Hi wild boarOkay as promised, something new (sort of)
A modified design of my PDUK Chassied PXA bogie box that I abandoned about a year back. Now its back but with integral sides and a more solid chassis (and cheaper).
I am hoping to have a rake of these (with some scratch built JNA's and the printed sheerness PXA/JXA's) running for the debut of our new club layout 'Arley Dale' at the Warrington Show (Shameless Plug) in October. For the show these will be running on off the shelf Bachmann Y25 bogies instead of my printed GP25's which they should have. I also still need to have a crack at buffers for these.

Chassis
Both

Also by swapping the chassis I will be able to build some more JNA's (GERS 4400) too.
Whether I will be able to produce the PDUK PXA Steel hoods remains to be seen.

Hi wild boar
When do you think these will be available for sale?

Hi Nik,
Yes, only loco's for the time being, as they are bigger ticket items and allow me to recoup my investment much faster than wagons ever would, and this is good for a 'fledgling' company :-)
Cheers
Dave
fully understand thanks for answering

Good Evening everyone
Small update, this week saw the arrival of a few bits from Peter Leyland (aka. Gravy Train). Again words cannot describe the level of detail he produces and this replica of the office block belonging to Wigan Springs Branch Depot an excellent replica. Also two walls produced which belong to the old steam shed and the back wall even with the No Parking writing on it. I just need to do the surrounding scenery to do justice to this. If anyone has any photos of this area can you pm me or please post them on this post?
thanks

Looking good Mick
What was the base for this and the ends? Was it a Heljan cargo wagon?

Now for some small layout improvements
I ordered some bespoke signal gantries for the layout which have arrived and after much colorful words I managed to work out how to wire them out.
So here are some pics of prior and post fitting. I think they have made a great improvement.
Let me know what you think
