  1. The stock sold cheaply by Hattons is "surplus" or left over stock. The situation should ease now as the numbers of Gorgi produced has been cut back drastically. As for "limited editions" that is another hotly debated subject, my own personal opinion is that they should not be done at all but as I say that is my own view. if none were made it would end all the "ebay madness".
  2. Postage is a bit steep don`t you think. Business maquerading as private???/
  3. He could have made it 20p postage
  4. Ask your self Could you build the above layout for £600 to that quality??? No I thought not. It is all a matter of perspective one never gets ones money back when selling a layout because you cannot ever charge the correct rate for your labour.
  5. He does seem to obatian some funny Tri-ang items. Makes you wonder??. The CP railcar/boxcar £24.90 perhaps but that is pushing it. Still each to their own.
  6. Or could it be Hogwarts Models trading under a different name?????
  7. Our local model shop had SIX delivered
  8. Why?? It is an old box at least 10 years old.
  9. Having read the description I think it clearly states box.
  10. This really does add something out of the ordinary to a layout - I can't imagine there are many more (if any) out there. I shouldn`t think there are any more out there. Still somebody will buy it and think it is a good deal.
  11. We obviously remain interested in anyone who gains resolution by whatever method, but please let's not have this thread descend into that all-too familiar downward spiral of unproductive recriminations. It is all to easy what ever the problem to bang on about rights etc when normaly a word with retailer/supplier normally sorts the problem out. Always try the polite approach first as I have found out going off at the deep end does not if ever work. Also my local retailer was told to return all dud chassis to Heljan by May only to be told in August I think it was that there was no need to return the chassis????? Such is life or Ce la Vie as some would say
  12. I thouht that all the D82xx locos were pure Eastern Region and were kept in East Anglia. i think that one working from Eastleigh is a myth.
