Well i decided to show how far i have come since my question about Lynton Goods and Engine shed.
I purchased some 6mm Birch ply and had it cut into strips and one sheet into 4 pieces 2ft wide.
From this i made up 2 4ft boards covered them with cork tiles and began to plan my layout.
This is just one of the boards.
I decided on Lynton station using the Bachmann model as the pivotably point of the layout. Obviously not the correct station building but its a start.
I also planned in a lighting valace at this stage.
Next came the track laying and colouring of the track. Here you can see that a section at the rear was left for the fiddle yard..
After testing and ballasting basic sceney was modelled.
First a scratch-built engine shed then a scratch-built goods shed.
Part 2 to follow.

That's a big status update, this would be better as a layout topic which is more permanent on the site.
This update will disappear from general view within days if not hours as we only see the last four status updates on the main pages.
Your layout looks interesting, it would be a pity to lose the thread when it's posted like this.

Can i obtain plans for both buildings and from where?
