I got to see the layout on the Saturday and I have to say I was very impressed! Was a real joy to watch, the only problem being (like with most layouts at Warley) I could'nt stay for too long in fear of not seeing everything. I'm going to do both days next year as you really can't see everything in the one day to truely appreciate it.

Modern Railways magazine are reporting in their last issue that up to 40 examples of DBS's UK Class 66 fleet will be exported to Poland to replace life expired locos. This Doesn't include the 60 already sent to France for use by ECR or the 70 built specifically for ECR. So prehaps the 60s overhauls is to cover the shortfall in traction?
