    Sound 60048 expired today, off to Hornby for repairs!

      Hi Chris

      As it was within the warranty, I just sent it back to Hornby HQ at Margate. Said it will be back in 28 days, dont know how there fixing it though. Hope all goes well with it.

    Howes or SWD sound for my 66? cant decide!

      ive just been researching both Howes and SWD and think Ill go for Howes as I prefer the engine sounds,the howes offering has more of a ying-ying to it.

      No, its 60026 which I will be renumbering to 60039. It will have faded decals-just like yours.

      Sounds great,I was thinking of adding the Howes sound to my 37427. I would say that Howes offers the best 37 sound chip.

      Trains on time sell spares, so they might have some. Or you could have a class 60 spares donor, just like the prototype!
