Just noticed Hattons Class 28 info has been updated - Item 2800 D5700 in Full BR Green now shown with MODIFIED windows - so NOT as delivered with wrap round windows! I thought it was to good to be true.

Just neen notified the "Kernow" Bachmann 47 079 "G J Churchward" in GW150 Green livery has arrived but still no sign of the "Rails" 47 145 'Merddyn Emrys' in Tinsley Blue livery.

My CoT has now arrived in a very large brown box in perfect condition, it looks absolutely superb and runs like a sewing machine. Have lined it up with my Dukedog and I just hope Bachmann now have a opportunity to make the whole range of GW 4-4-0's - great! I suppose the bets are on for when the first CoT's appear on eBay .... and for how much!

Had the e-mail as well - now starting to feel very light in the wallet as my 4-CEP arrived this morning and it looks like the Rail Express Fastline 66 is also on the way!

Just managed to get through to the NRM and ordered my City of Truro after seeing the details and a picture of the model on the GWR website - absolutely superb! What will come next from the NRM I wonder? As for the cost - I suspect that we will be seeing some eye watering RRP price rises for all models when Bachmann and Hornby publish their 2010 catalogues / price lists.

I must admit that I, like many others, am getting more than a little fed up with having to look at my collection of Class 17's and Class 47's languishing in the scrap road on my layout. There is, however, one thing I am looking forward to and that is "visiting" the Heljan Stand A10 at the NEC 21/22 November and talking to them face to face - maybe I won't be the only one there that weekend looking for some answers.
