This news is really sad and regretful that I never managed to visit the show. Best wishes to all of the organisers and it returns at a new venue. I hope model rail Scotland is not next.

Hi all I have been away from the hobby for a while now and, being new year, thought I would make a return to it. I have finally managed to complete a layout, albeit a small box file. It’s good experience though for a larger one and I have gained new skills I’m not sure if anyone is familiar with this layout but thought I would ask if anyone out there had any photos of it. It’s an o gauge layout called ‘Oswaldtwistle Town’ It was around approximately 2013/14 and I can only see a few photos online. if anyone can point in the direction of some more photos i would be grateful. cheers Andrew

Update - found Kelly’s saloon and Roberts dry goods at Hattons. Just Goodfellows hall now.

Hi all I am after a kit in the Design Preservation models 1/87 range. I picked up, by luck, a couple of made up kits at a railway show but are hard to come by or really expensive to ship from the US. It does not matter if made up or open. The kit I am after is Goodfellows hall Cheers Andrew

Many thanks for this. Great help. I must admit I have no layout except a micro I’m building. A model of Eyemouth was on the cards for ages in the planning stage/ initial prep. Lack of space meant I had to abandon. I’m wanting a full train of the master cutler more for display really. Being from Sheffield originally.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all ok during this testing period. Not been on here for a bit however furlough means more modelling time! I’m asking for help about coaching formations for the master cutler around the time blue class 45’s were running. From what I see of photos online it’s not clear. Mk2d’s seem to be used which I have a few of. Advice on number of coaches/ formations would be gratefully received. Thank you Andrew
