  1. Hi Gilbert I cannot find any of the photos you refer to, is it my laptop or have they not been downloaded. Regards David
  2. Hi Gilbert I am very glad to hear that you are onto a speedy recovery, I know just how you must of felt having gone through similar experiences a few years ago. Looking forward to your next selection of photographs. Regards David
  3. Fantastic looking Model Micklner and exellent finish as well, did she or any of the other A2/2's ever run over the Waverley line. I have seen photos of the A2/3's at Hawick Station but not the A2/2's. I am waiting for the day when either Hornby or Bachmann bring out a RTR A2/2 or A2/3. Regards David
  4. Morning all This is a really interesting topic especially to me, and it seems to have hit the buffers, pardon the pun. So here’s a photo of one of my favourite locos to kick start it again hopefully. I know someone has already put a photo of A3 60097 Humorist on the web recently but I still could not resist putting it on again, with other loco's to follow soon. Regards David Railway and Landscape Photographer http://www.landscapesandsteam.co.uk
  5. Great set of new photos Gilbert. Brings back memories when I saw A4's 60001 and 60002 side by side in Kings Cross station very early 1963 during the bad winter of that year. Is 60002 a Hornby A4 or kit built. Regards David
  6. Hi Gilbert All the same it is a fantastic looking locomotive, also I forgot to say a RTR A2/3 would be just as good, fingers crossed one day maybe. Regards David
  7. Hi More great photos, I love the A2/2 60504 Mons Meg did you build this loco yourself from a kit? I would love to get this class of locomotive but do not have the skills to build one. I am hoping one day either Hornby or Bachmann will bring one out in RTR form. Regards David
  8. Fantastic layout, I have been following your Longdrem & Pinkhill branch line layout since you had the excellent two part article in the BRM modelling magazine back in 2009. May I ask how you fix the Elizabethan headboard to the lamp irons on 60009. Regards David
  9. Hi Gilbert Fantastic layout. May I ask where you purchased the Elizabethan headboard carried by A4 60011 Empire of India in the photos a few pages back. Regards David
  10. Hi Gilbert I have only just recently come across your layout and have been following your progress with great interest, fantastic layout. Do you have any track plans indicating the overall length and width of Peterborough North including the fiddle yard. Great workmanship. Regards David
