  1. Nice day phttong in the Thames Valley. 37s, 20s and a 47 along with the various sheds. Good day, company and sunny too.

  2. Coooorrrrr - don't know how I missed this one! The chaps on the RM webber's stand were talking about it over the weekend and pointed me in its direction. Super!
  3. It's not normally a possibility to get this view of the The Royal Oak, however temporary removal of the backscene allows this angle on the Ushers Brewery pub next to Ankle Bend Crossing, Combwich.
  4. A quiet moment at Ankle Bend Crossing just outside Combwich in the summer of 1955. My recent house move has meant that the layouts are temporarily dismantled, the bonus of this is that it's given me a chance to get some snaps of some of the little scenes in the comfort of a warm house rather than the cold garage which previously housed Combwich. No Photoshop was used in the creation of this image, other than for colour and contrast adjustment - no 'fiction'. An A1 sized photographic print of clouds was placed behind this segment of the layout.
  5. Framed by a footbridge window, 5855 Teddington, Thursday 11 February 2010 A bit of intentional contre-jour 5722 Wimbledon, Thursday 11 February 2010
  6. My ears were burning......Leatherhead 2007 PM me if you want it photographed properly for print
  7. Thin strips of self adhesive paper label (as the Pendon kids do I gather) are a doddle too - no glue required either
  8. Great concept! Cracking work! One to follow!! B)
  9. Totally with you here Neil! I remember this layout on the printed page and was very impressed! Personally and like many others I'm a real sucker for the bucolic, industrial, knackered rails, almost forgotten and water ....... maybe I can get my camera near it some time B)
  10. Cracking work there Jon! And you won't go wrong with that Silfor matting (which doesn't go tatty with age and is very finger proof too - worth every penny).
  11. How tall is this on 2mm? Looks fabulous! The Plough (which to the unknowing the best freehouse for miles) is where I presume you went for inspiration for this groovy and bold angle is responsible for so much
  12. D1010 Western Campaigner shunts the small yard at Catcott Burtle in September 1971. By this stage the only section of this former SDJR branch still open was from Highbridge to Glastonbury to serve the Clark's Shoe factory and yearly music revellers to the rock festival (a load of old bull of course!).
  13. I rather like the look of these - a real change from a class 66/shed so that cannot be a bad thing - thumbs up from me!
