Today i have made a start on a 5522's kit for a Midland 12 wheel 1st class Dining car dia0571
So far i have built most of the chassie brasswork apart from the solebar steps
After lunch i hope to get the rest of the chassie done & make a start on the body
well at the Huddersfield show i built up the next coach for the layout a Jubilee 1st built from Bill Bedford etchs & 247 Development parts over the weekend i got all of the soldering done now all i have to do is build up the seating & paint the coach
Tonight this Gentlemen was seen getting off the last train of the day asking if any one had seen Binky ??
Back to working on the Finney kit today
so far i have built up the sides & ends only using solder.I have just given them a wash
& once i have had lunch i hope to get the 4 parts solded to getter
One of todays jobs is building up the radiaters for the 23 & them fitting them
Well i got them built & fitted
there when together better than i had expected
next is to get the body to fit the skeleton then its down to fitting the white metal nose, bonit, windows & cab roof

Well after soldering 32 parts togetter i have now got a set of bogie frames built
This build is going to be slow as i have to find & them look at photos of the bit i am building so that i can find the part (no numbering on the etches )

this week i have been finishing off a 5522 kit of a midland dia572 all 3rd dining car
i do not like coach kit that are built up with the chassie as part of the body
well with under 2 weeks till this & Forks Trestle are at the C.R.M show 24th jan crewe heritage center
well with the kid again at home as the schools closed
I have glaxed the building & put in the doors as you can see inside i have put some paper planking on the walls
& heres the 3rd building Ropa Interior del Mundo Terrenal can any one tell me which business this is from the street
well the foamboad arived in the post today & i have knocked up the rovers saloon the next job once the glue has dryed is to remove the pins the cover with coffee stirrers
i have now finished the 4mm Ex Midland TPO lot666 built from the 247 Developments etchs i found this a nice set of etches to build
It has been finished in period 3 livery
this morring i have put on theLMS P3 lining on to the ex-Midland TPO & as the Money went out of my bank yestoday i hope the transfers will arrive later Today once the postman has been
well one of the items i have been working on today was fitiing the glazing & chassie to the GWR L23 TPO this is now finished apert from fitting the No's but i need some more 1's to number this TPO

Today i have been working on the Midland TPO again
i have been fitting the roof vents & built up the chassie as this is going to be finished in LMS livery i have fitted it with a battery box & dynamo plus not fitted lanp tops to the roof as pre the photos of the M&NEJPS ones in the 50's
then there was the bogies to build again these as well as the underframe parts are from 247 Developments
todays running was a lot easier with 2 than 1 operater

The Mk1 have had to be put on hold as i had to work on my Forks Trestel layout to get it ready for this weekend
Today i have made a start on the 247 Developments etches for a Midland / M&NEJPS TPO
So far i have formed up the roof, sides & sorting duckets(i think thats what you call them) the i have built these up in to the two sides
plus made a start on soldering the ends to the sides
Well i have got the track down today & i am about to do some of the wiring
At the mo the yards can only work with Forks as i have run of of track but i will fit the bridging tracks to the outer ends before the CRM show so the yards can be put anywere withing the On30 Modules
note to self must pick up some small door nobs them screws are sharp
Forks Trestle is now filling in on november 28th/29th 2009 @ the show in Uppermill
I have a passinger train & a logging train plus a small goods train at the mo but look to the CRM for stock transfers to increas trains
