Hi mateNot sure about the split two level affair concept Neil but 47033 is a belter - nice close ups on the Stabling / Fuelling Point.
Ian
The split level is to keep the paying public at shows entertains while I'm chatting haha
I'm always conscious of something moving and given that this is our show layout advertising our business we get a lot of people chatting to us which is superb.
The shuttle system is perfect to keep something rolling at all times and it's simple to change stock too.

I do remember, so pleased it's still hardworkingSome cracking shots there Neil, it looks great.
I do love an 08, indeed I have an old one still trundling around that I got off you a few years ago. I am slowly being converted to 03s though.
Thank youlookin great mate BR depot should have lots of 08 pal and they all super nice one .
I do have an obsession with them but some do need to go
Yeah MartinNice collection of 08s.
Must get mine over to you for repair
Pop them in we will sort them out

Just a few pictures of the depot which is nearly complete and some of the 08s that have been growing in force
I have decided to cull a few as i have to many now that some don't really get a run out these days
Lots more details to add on the layout with fence panels around the fuel tank area and trees to go in the right corner
Really looking forward to taking this out next year

Hi Neil,
Only just found this, I don't get as much time on here these days. This is a great looking layout and as Alex said you can't beat a few loco's in railfreight liv.
Didn't know you had a shop either hope it's going well for you.
Cheers Peter.
Hi Peter Thank you for the kind words, i do love a bit of RF livery
The shop is doing well so far, its early days as we have only been open 7 months but its something i am enjoying so much

Hi mateIt really does look good, and looks even better in the flesh. I'm looking forward to you fitting the diesel refuelling thing now that we have fitted LED's to it
It's all wired in, just need to glue it all back in and take some pics tomorrow

The retaining walls have now been completed by James and the look superb
I have added some greenery to break up the brick work and I am totally pleased with how it looks.
I picked a walthers air con and vent kit up recently and thought they would be a great detail to add to the buildings and depot walls.
Easy to build and once sprayed and weathered they look really cool, the hardest thing to do is decide we're to put them
Now it's all the fine details to add which always takes s little longer
I have also had my Bachmann 25 rebooted by our inhouse weathering and sound fit guy who has given it a much better weathered look as opposed to the factory job and added a SWD sound decoder
It looks and sounds superb

Thanks class66
Today sees a bit more work on the layout with the rest of the retaining wall and more details being addded.
The kadee magnets are fitted on the front two sidings so I can do a little shunting on the wagon works but I need to get some practice in on these.
I'm only going to fit the kadees to the 08s and 20s as the large locos won't fit into the sidings with wagons and wouldn't really shunt the yard this small.

Awesome news and very well deserved indeed can't wait to see this on the big stage
