It's been a few months since any updates
Mostly due to the amount of work that little layouts has seen and the impending opening of our own model shop so things have been very hectic
Things have slowly progressed in the back ground with the layout and I will post new pictures in due course.
The layout has two shows booked this year
The Corby and district model society in October
And we are honoured to be invited to the gaugemaster 40th anniversary show which we are delighted to attend.
In the meantime keep an eye out for our shop opening which we are so excited about.
Please come and support us and our business venture

I have now completed the point operating system
Using O gauge rail with a brass wire pin soldered on and into the tie bar
The rail sits in a plastic tube that goes into the frame and held in place using electrical cable holders
Works a treat and is easily repairable if needed
Also a few details have been added to the inside of the single road shed
Benchs, tools and pipes

Hi Neil,
Just stumbled across thread and I like what I see!
Following with interest.
Cheers
Cheers Sam,
Hard standing has been painted and needs weathering then I can get the depot section fitted and lights installed

Neil,
You've just inspired my next project... a 3' x 8" P4 plank depicting that exact scene from Neville Hill.
Thanks
Mike
That's great Mike, it certainly inspired me, I love looking at a picture and thinking can I model that in s small space
This kind of escalated a little but the basics are there haha
Thank you for liking our Feb page too Mike

I am considering chopping the track so that I can bring the first board in and work on it as you saw the shed is slightly full hahaha

Like those class 60s Neil.
Thanks mate, got the buffers and numbers and plates in the post today so I can crack on a little more with them

I managed to bag a couple more tugs over Christmas
Although they needed rebuilding, what was there the previous owner had kept in good condition
Chassis tested, and running nicely
Frames re attached
Ploughs fitted
Cabs refitted
New transrail decals and numbers on there way
One will be 084 and I'm searching for another number to do the second, possibly 037.
Still need to get
buffer sets for each
Couplings and pipes
Nameplates
Horns , I believe 37s fit also
Windscreens
Wipers
And under frame parts for one loco,
If anyone has any of these bits not needed pls pm me as some of them are hard to get
