  1. Some excellent and very convincing pubs there.
  2. Travel Time - Crispy Ambulance
  3. Enjoyed Taunton - a great day out., toy trains, good company, Foo Fighters on the car stereo - what more could a man want?

  4. Well that one certainly counts! Absolutely marvellous. I do agree with Dave777, though - there's been a bit of "mission drift".
  5. Combine Harvester - The Wurzles (my work here is done)
  6. I forget whether it was Roco or not, but I read in one of the mags that one of the European manufacturers is putting sensors in its diesel/electric chassis that will trigger flange-squeal on curves. I'd buy that for a dollar.
  7. If you'd bothered to read this thread, the answer would be obvious... in fact, you'd only need to look a few posts up from your own. I also notice you've posted this exact same query on another forum: http://www.modelrailwayforum.co.uk/showthread.php?p=3974
  8. Guaranteed Eternal Sanctuary Man - Genesis
  9. Thirty Century Man - Scott Walker
  10. Midlake. Just Midlake and nothing else.
  11. Just had his first Magnum of the year.

      ice cream or P45?

  12. I saw a couple of Tintagels in Ian Allan on friday. I don't know whether it was the cabinet lighting, but the green looked really good, much better than Hornby's usual drab applications.
  13. Back from Ally Pally - great privelege to be able to play on a layout as beautifully made as Bawdsey...

  14. A New Face in Hell - The Fall (one for Halfwit B))
  15. Tonight's the Night - Neil Young
  16. Just when you are feeling quietly pleased with yourself about the progress of a modelling project, why does reality always come along and bite you on the bottom?

better than bitting you in front of your bottom

'tis the way of the world, alas. The number of times I've had stuff working, made a small tweak and broken it...

  17. I was there on the sunday as well, but haven't had a good look at my snaps yet. It was certainly atmospheric, with the steam swirling around on a damp day.
