Very nicely done, Mikkel. It's refreshing to see this period being modelled, and your figures look superbly appropriate.

like the difference in grass texture between the railway and the rest of the world - somehting I am trying to achieve with Summat Colliery - trimming down the hanging basket liner one side of the fence and teasing it up around the fence the other
For once I've actually been looking at photos while modelling, instead of making it all up and copying other layouts! I used static grass on the inside of the fence, applied over the HBL. I'd like to make a bit more of it though...

I'm confused, on your Barry Ten entry it gives one Blog, this one, so where's the other one gone?
I'm evidently to old to get how this works, there must be hundreds of interesting things on here and I've little idea how to connect to them.
The hairs seem to have been trimmed
Penlan
Hi Penlan - I'm still trying to work out how to get the other blog to show up - it exists, as I started it after the S&D one, but like you I only
see this one under my profile.

?Liking that very much Al. An atmospheric shot of a lovely model. The interaction of the lighting and backdrop work very well too!Dave.

Many thanks, that's given me an idea.....?

That's a very nice backscene, is it painted or a photograph. Not to sure about the public hairs in the foreground though - I find digital cameras show up all sorts of things that we are not aware of.........
Penlan
Hi Penlan - it's based on the Gaugemaster photographic backscenes, heavily misted with white through an airbrush. I must trim those hairs!

I'm also pleased to hear about this layout again. I've read the RM articles many times.

Me too - like the 3-d sketches, too.
