Just a word of warning, on mine one of the pins holding the con rods has decided to leave the loco and has gone missing! Having paid ??150 for it I am left rather irritated by the problem. I shall contact Bachmann when they re-open (Tuesday?) and see what to do next. At least it is nothing terminal like the motor giving up.

Good good. Anything to stop ebay profiteering, especially on a model like Truro For ??145 I would expect it to come with etched plates. Aren't Bachmann issueing them with some standard models currently anyway?

They aren't available on the NRM website yet or am I in the wrong direction? Standard issue for me, mine is to work not sit in a display case!

With regards to the belt drive if conventional (geared drive) isn't possible wouldn't chain drive be better in terms of reliability? Still I'll but at least 1 when they come out.
