Looks like when they scratchbuilt it the glue has bubbled up under the plasticard! Nice structure though. I like the 'half an old switch' still present on the lead as well.

is it because ZKAs/MKAs all got tatty before digital cameras were commonplace?
I suspect that may have a lot to do with it...only some of the Limpets got "proper" dutch paint though, from memory most got a yellow band added above whatever livery it was in as a POA - the state of some of the late MKA images is due to big chunks of whatever paint was left being many many years old!

Needs some people adding though!
Including some at the windows I think - this working always seems to have a window hanger or two!

I think it's an awesome idea - Freemo-type concepts are long overdue on the British scene.
And yes, the benefit is that you aren't planning a mega-project that will be decades before you can see progress, but producing a number of smaller projects that are all acheivable in their own right and all usable individually or with the ability to be connected together has lots of advantages!
I look forward to seeing this project develop.

Hi Jim, as well as the front end the other major difference between 150/1 and 150/2 is the cab side doors, on the 1 they are inward opening 'slam' doors with drop windows and square tops - mounted flush with the coach side, on the 2 they are sliding doors with sealed windows and curved tops, inset like the other sliding doors.
