  8. Hi There; Nice work on the 37. Try some N Gauge BR numbers for the nose. I've been using old toothbrush hairs for years for nose aeriels. Indestructible and in plentiful supply. Later; STU from EGDL
  9. Hi There; There should be plates in the box. If not, get another one from the retailer..... Later; STU from EGDL
  10. Hi All; My 86241 arrived safely this morning from C&M Models...so thanks Mike!! A quick once over and it looks ok...previous postings ref the pan & flexicoil duly noted. The supplied Shawplan nameplates look very good too. Will get it lubricated and on to the test track a little later after some domesticness has taken place!!! Later; STU from EGDL
  11. Hi Mike; Thanks for the info....looking forward to finally getting my hands on the model... Regards STU from EGDL
  12. Hi Gang; There may finally be some (head)light(s) at the end of the tunnel. Mike from C&M has e-mailed me to confirm my address with the hope that the locos will be with him next week. Later; STU from EGDL
  13. Hi Gang; Any news on when this is hitting the streets. It has been awfully quiet recently. Sharing the concerns ref the pantograph. Will judge properly when 86241 arrives!!! Later; STU from EGDL
  14. Hi Gang; Nice set of pics....but I cannot make out any evidence of an end platform walkway as is so prominent on the pic in REx Modeller. Perhaps it is just the angle of the pics. From the pic of the weathered N Gauge sample on the Dapol website, it looks like the ECC logo may need toning down too. Otherwise, I think both weathered and clean versions are real winners for those that model that era/location. Later; STU from EGDL
  15. Hi There; The brickwork is awesome...Well done! I only hope that I can replicate such realism.... Later STU from EGDL
  16. Simon; There was a hand-finished weathered bullet on the Dapol stand at Ally Pally. It is scheduled for general release in the second half of this year. Very fine it looked too.... Later; STU from EGDL http://stusphotos.fotopic.net
