Another project just finished is this Paul Rolley IHA coil wagon. It's a resin kit with a small sheet of etches for the end details. The bogies are from SimonBRblue via Shapeway. It took a while and a few pots of paint to get the correct colour but I ended up with early NSE blue which look ok. Transfers are from Rail-Tec.

Just finished this Steve Beattie Spanner MkI boiler. Thankfully I found 3 lost wax bits in the steam loco scrap box to finish it. I found a diagram of one on the internet or I would be stumped at where to put the wires. Not saying it's that accurate but it captures the look ok. I just had this old RJH 31 to hand to place in the background.

Passed Fairford earlier this week just as this U2 was taking off to do circuits and bumps, bit lucky.

Has it really been a year since I did anything on here! Most recent build has been this Palbrick from Ian MacDonald. It's a lovely kit of etches which you have to get buffers vac pipe and cylinder and wheels for. I used Slaters vac pipes, buffers and wheels. The vac cylinder was an old JLTRT one I had. I can't remember who did the coupling?

Glad the 56 is performing as one would want just don't break, it I want it back to weather! Shame I did not have a chip in 47179 as was a HM/KY loco hence my weathering of it -
