Yes as far as Hinksey North where the down Goods ended to get past the cemetery. Don't know when it was taken up, bit before my time.

I got PH Designs to do some etches for me a while back to backdate the kit to a 86/0. Also a new headcode box as the kit one is too small. I glued the new one over the old one but it should be recesses a bit more to be honest but I just could not face trying to un solder the original so this will do. The new etched rivet surround now goes with the curve of the front and not recessed as per the kit. Tail lights are made up with the etched "washers" and a light surround etch on the end. There is a new horn grill but I failed miserably trying to solder it up so need another to have a go with. It was a job trying to solder the new V bogie pivot etches onto the floor without compromising the brass strip I soldered in and filled to remove the coil spring location. Anyway it's slowly coming on.

Hi Brian,
An interesting pair of photos. Clearly showing DROPS on container flats as they have twist locks, and a clear view of the DROPS "loop" for the loading hook.
The second pic is interesting showing how a load fits onto the DROPS flatbed.
I have looked at your photos before and there are a lot of very interesting MOD loads on your Flickr site, many thanks for posting them.
The two pictures are DROPS on FCA twins (amazed no one has done a kit or RTR of this) but to the right of the FCA on the second photo is that an EWS low deck wagon....not sure of the TOPs code?
Cheers,
John
Here is the other wagon with these flats on and another KFA with some more.

Looks cracking that Pete, anything on availability?

A few from the 1980s. The first two of these I've posted elsewhere, but still worth a repeat for rarity value.
One of the morning Derby-St Pancras semi-fasts was sometimes used as a running-in turn for locos out of Derby works overhaul, and one filthy day at Leicester, 27014 turned up, double-heading with a 25. It was removed at Leicester, and I don't know if the 25 continued alone to London or was also swapped over (normally a 45/1 working):
At Glasgow QS, on sleepers. Possibly the empties from the Inverness-Glasgow+Edinburgh working. The luggage trolley reads "not to be removed from Glasgow Central" naturally:
At Perth:
That 27 and 25 coming into Leicester is just mental, what a combination.

Thanks Pete, those nice shiny ones were never going to stay so they can go back on their Yanky wagon. I just noticed these shots with the sun on do show the graininess of the 3D print but I think I can live with it, so do I make a rake with these wagons?

Well I have had a bash at making two coils. Slightly different weight card used on these to see which I prefer, and can't make my mind up. Still need to get a white marker pen to add some waffle on them. The strapping is cut down insulation tape. The coils are painted Humbrol Metalccote 27003 Polished Steel and then polished a bit.

A bit of a lack of updates here due to the fact I don't like the new layout I'm afraid and it was doing my head in working it out.
Anyway here is an update on the 86, I just added the lamp brackets and the nice etched horn grill that Pete Harvey did for me. Will add some LED lights next before painting I think.
