Hi Sean,
I have just started to scratch build the undergubbins on my mk2's and was wondering if you could take a close up pic of the fuse boxes and explanation of how you built them please. This would be most helpfull.
I have bought Peter Cowling resin battery boxes and am about to make the other bits, so any help/ tips would be appreciated.

Hi Sean, thanks for the kind words.
The windows on the BFK are the only ones that have been finished and i,ve since decided to use etch frames. But i rubbed the body carefully around the molded frames and paint the inside of the apperture black. Then i used Finecast Triang Big Big coach flush glazing. It looks ok but i hope to get a better result in window etches and a piece of clear glazing behind.
I have a mate at the moment looking into window etches and it may be possible to get an A4 sheet done full of window frames which hopefully do about 5 coaches. Time will tell along with cost etc.
I look forward to your next up-date.

Hi Sean,
I have been watching this thread for some time and have found it very interesting.
I have ( or am in the process ) cut n shut 8x Big Big/Triang Mk2's. Im trying to source where i can get the window etches done. I like the way you have done the roof strips.
My stumbling block at the mo is seats. I too have thought about casting in resin but i have'nt cast before so that could be interesting.
How much did your window etches cost?.
I have tried to cut n shut two big big's to make an FK and have already done a BFK. I have the bodies of 6x TSO with more to do.
What size strip did you use for the roof?.

The sealion should be in primer tomoro, the shark needs a lot of work done to it to make it a decent model, i have decided to plate the sides as the etched planks are badly etched.

That'd be a good reason for not using wood then I don't know why I had it in my mind that they had wooden decks.
I suppose now Pugsley you feel a bit of a plank . Only joking, well it was nearly a joke.

Hi Ian, I'm watching this with interest. I too want to build some 6-wheel milk tanks. Please keep those progress pics coming

Hi Sean,
Did you use photographs for your detailling underneath.?
I cant find a decent close up pic of the fuse boxes and cables from it.
I did this on my BFK and have started to make some more for the TSO's
