    Rfd Wagons
I think I may have started one of these before, but I can't find the original entry.  I've got a very healthy (or unhealthy depending on your viewpoint) pile of part made and unmade kits and projects which have been sitting around for the best part of a decade.
A visit to the Festival of railway modelling at Doncaster last month provided a much needed boots to the modelling motivation, so in recent weeks have cracked on with a couple of projects.

Firstly go round to painting the Chivers OTA kits which have been built for a while now.  Purchased the Ten Commandments loads at Doncaster.

Need to add transfers (now have I or haven't I bought them already - can't seem to find them in the drawer), then add loads, straps and a coat of matt varnish.

    N gauge kits
I struggle to find the time to get any modelling done, with work, kids and a wife who works shifts, and the amount of kits I've stockpiled over the years probably hasn't helped the situation. I've started a few a couple of years ago, pre-covid, but then kept as time has passed, I've dreaded trying to tackle them once again, not knowing what to do first.
But after visiting TINGS and the Wigan show, I've got some mojo back after being inspired by layouts there (and also comforted that not all modelling needs to be 100% accurate to reach "exhibition standard")

So I had a chat with myself, and agreed that even if I could squeeze in n 30 minutes a day here and there, it was better than nothing.

Adopting this approach has worked for me over the last couple of weeks.

First off I've managed to finish detailing a set of Farish freightliner flats, using re-released TPM detailing kit and N gauge society Ride control bogies. Loaded with a mixture of C-Rail and Farish containers. I'm pretty happy with the results.
