  4. I have just reviewed the clip that has been mentioned, and it appears that the train in question is slowing down so the engine is not under-load, but I heard the distinctive sound of cooler fans running for the dynamic braking. Yep they are growing on me. Begin to look a bit cool. B) B) Terry.
  5. Yep ! I agree with you on that one The grey is very fitting for the loco. Terry
  6. I suppose the next thing they would like is a Microwave and a colour telly :P :P Terry runs for the exit .....................FAST :D :D
  7. I found the following image from an other web site ( and I have lost the details ). But I think but can't be sure that they display speed air pressures and other relevant information for the driver to be monitored, as for the leavers. Going from left to right. it could be Loco Brake only Train Brake Power Controller with dynamic brake ( if fitted) Forward and reverser lever. From what I can see the AWS reset button is on the far left of the control desk, which is a bit of a pain if you are right handed, to which I would have thought that a high percentage of drivers are. :icon_frustrated: All above are only guess, and as I can not confirm if they are right. And yes they are growing on me as well. :icon_redface: Terry.
  8. Is there any time scale before they reach Felixstowe. Terry.
