Looking good David, I have always liked the idea of a layout with Weymouth features. If your previous work is anything to go by then it should be ready in no time and look fantastic. Well I don't have any 50's on my fleet. But thats not to say I don't want any. I would like to have 50043 in large logo livery. The reason behind that is that used to have the lima version many years ago and it was a cracking runner and was the pride of my fleet. I also remember as a young lad going to Salisbury station hoping that a 50 would be stabled in the bay by the carpark, it used to be an awesome sight. So all I need to do is buy a Hornby one and renumber it, and weather it to a almost end of life look. It sounds so simple when I type it out, why haven't I done it before now?? I'm sure I will return to this thread for hints and tips on improvements. Any chance of some more photos? Cheers Scott (off to do the hoovering now!)
