Yes, bits broken off paviors by idiot (former) Jewsons' drivers can be mended with Araldite and survive two days of heavy rain.

Looks like it will make final landfall in eastern Queens. Worst winds 80 - 100mph east on Long Island, heaviest rains up to 12" in New Jersey. Seem like the very worst effect will be felt in North Carolina and Virginia but they do not have 20m people in the immediate area.
