One diagram is still running - rumours are that this Monday will be the last. (Admittedly that's what I heard two weeks ago, but I think it can't be long now)

This week so far it's been 37 418 (and it seems to be behaving well); before that it was the Colas livery one.

The other diagram is 3x153, and when I've seen it they've managed to put three together in the new TFW livery.

From what I've heard, once they have enough 153s available, the remaining 37 diagram will go the same way and it will be the end of an era (for the second time).

Yes I have heard the same, I heard last week Monday gone was the end yet I saw 418 this morning. Last I heard 418 comes down on Monday and he stock is going to Landore for warm storage but who knows what will happen? Even TFW don't seem to know

need some advice. I been trying to get my money back £248.99. paid with a visa debit card.Bank said sorry ,can not  help as over 120days old.
As it was a LTD company can take the crook David Jones to court.
I spoke again with the liquidator. To this day they still not recived a list of customers from David jones . That sound very odd and like DJ is trying to hid some thing. I will be very lucky if I get any thing back from the Liquidators.
Dose any one have any ideas or is time to say good by to the money .

First question is when did you start your claim?

If your doing a RHTT train you can have one DRS 20 on the front and a failed HNRC one on the rear like he real thing lol

Or if using the RHTT just buy 2 DRS 20's of the same model, once you make them look prototypical you can't tell what number each is

Is it just me who imagined maniacal laughter when reading this bit?

Whatever, I wish KR Models tbe best of luck and look forward to finally seeing a RTR Shark on my workbench....

The crazy thing is the tooling exists, I held a sample in October 2018 and looked at a painted sample - I did try and persuade dave jones to let me run it on my layout (just across from his stand) but he didn't let me.

    hi kr models

is this a crowd funded project?

many people are understandably wary of crowd funding following the djm collapse. if you are crowd funding can you offer any reassurance or some safe guarding scheme (?) to persuade people to participate?

best of luck with the project

    tim

Sadly I fear crowd funding these will be a bad move and fail. KR Models will have to find a way to get these tooled up without deposits as people will be wary of paying up front, and based on the GT3 if it doesn't reach its figure it won't go into production so its catch 22

My understanding is that 418 has a turbo problem which probably explains why it was providing ETH only this morning. If the 37's only have another 2 weeks of operation then it seems likely that the 025 powering and 418 ETH combination will continue.

Surprisingly 418 lead the train back up last night, 025 was leading to Cardiff this morning. So no idea what the plan is going forward - especially if 421 struggles

    Apologies to Dolly Parton.

Joem, Joem, Joem, Joemmm, is the next Bachmann Collectors Club model.

I don't know what exact dates it is suitable for, but it's nameless with the NELPG works plate on the cabside if that helps.

    Jason

2010-2017, the previous Bachmann model from the 90's covers her period of operation then - Red connecting rods were one of the differences. The Mainline model with North Eastern on the tanks was how she ran in the 1970's.

The Joem nameplate is in the cab or it was last time I was there

But what was expected, on the basis of the next three month's delivery schedule it will be existing items due for delivery.

To be fair, the list does include 2 reliveried OO locos, a 2nd run of OO coaches, 5 or so OO wagons, a set of buildings and a shed all not previously announced but nothing so much as a new version of a Mk1 in N

The thing with the Autoballasters is they would probably be able to just about get away with one run of the non-generator ones. These are simpler than the generator ones but based on eBay experience are the most in demand. 7 non generator ones went last night for a combined £345. So over £49 each for second hand Railtrack ones! OTOH I am trying to sell my 3 generator ones for £40 each (what I bought them for but have changed my mind on them) and they aren't going anywhere.

The problem with this is supply and demand - in N Gauge Dutch Seacows go for over £50 each, yet I have heard Bachmann would suggest that as the price (RRP or Discount not sure), problem is whilst 1 or 2 might go on ebay at that how well would a shop sell them if they had 20-30 in stock, same logic could apply to OO Auto ballesters - would they fly out if they were in ample supply?

Hornby has shown it can do small with the Ruston. I wonder if there will be a DCC socket and space for a speaker in the lead coach.

Not sure on the speaker but I asked Hornby on Facebook and they said there will be a DCC socket

  11. Not sure if its been posted on here or not but at the Dapol open day in September last year they were asked at the product presentation about the 88 and they said they have 2 or 3 liveries - the compass logo is different on some as the map coveres different areas (Crewe and Carlisle most likely) but whatever the total is they need one more livery option to make it happen.

So yes they do plan it but need something like TPE or Chiltern or whoever to take some on

Why not do a King in N - it's the one that is missing from the N gauge line up now.

Given DJM King was stopped in the summer it would take a while for Farish to get a King to the market if they started that day (look at how long some previously announced models are taking) so it won't be announced this year if they were to do one. Less likely now KJ Models have said they are doing a King

    Hopefully the Thompsons in maroon.

My money is on the maroon Thompsons in 2021 (not sure if that's announced in 2021 or announced in 2020 but released in 2021), they will do the more popular livery last as some people will buy the latest model as its new so more sales can be generated by less popular versions

  14. I am going to predict a retooled 37 and Deltic chassis for sound, new tooling 20/3 to follow the OO version,  struggling to predict rolling stock as all the main coach types of the Big 4 (Collett & Hawksworth, Stannier, Gresley/Thompson, Bulleid/Maunsell) and BR (Mk1-3) are done - unless they pull off a left field and try to beat the Cavlex 91 and Mk4 to the market

  15. I have an ECoS (well 3 if you include my dads 2) and they are excellent controllers if you can use the features. Regarding returns if problesm arise - I had one dropped and the screen went funny, it went back to Germany via South West Digital in Weston Super Mare so shouldn't matter If you buy here or Germany they will sort it - please note it goes in bulk not 1 at a time so could be out a while if anything happens.

I use touchcab http://touchcab.com/ if you have an iPhone this is great, just need a router to connect to ECoS and you are away
